Roasted Turmeric Pumpkin Seeds: A healthy treat! This is a super simple and quick recipe! Once you start snacking on these little gems it is hard to stop!  They would make a lovely gift when stored in a cute little glass jar!

Did I mention health benefits? To begin pumpkin seeds or pepitas are an excellent source of minerals and antioxidants. They are rich in fiber and protein. A one-cup serving contains 12 grams of fiber  and 12 grams of protein!  A win win for nutrition!  To add to this healthy concoction turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory source and high in minerals and antioxidants. Arthritis watch out I am eating pumpkin seeds with turmeric!  Best of all these seeds taste delicious by themselves or sprinkled on salad.

You can adjust the seasonings but don’t skip the hot sauce! It pairs well with the turmeric and adds just a very tiny spice but not enough to put your mouth on fire. Kids will enjoy these too!
