Indulged too much? Tips for a fresh start!Erase the guilt! 

Don’t beat yourself up! We all have times when we indulge ourselves. It is part of life. The important thing is to put it behind yourself and start fresh. Don’t use it as an excuse to go into a downward spiral! 

Routine is Key

Get back into your healthy eating routine right away! Routine is calming and energizing at the same time! Your body will respond to your normal routine and structure!

Follow the 3 M’s

Movement, mindful eating and minimizing! Movement helps regulate your mood, releases happy endorphins. When you feel happier you will make better choices and be more aware of what you eat. Minimize processed foods- your body will thank you for eating cleaner after a weekend of indulging!

Start your day with hot lemon waterLemon Water

Start your day with hot lemon water or green tea! It will balance your pH levels and stimulate the natural enzymes in your liver, which helps your body flush out toxins. 

Drink Shakeology

Providing your body with super-foods nutrition will give you energy, help fill you up and reduce cravings!

Get some morning sun, enjoy a book!Soak Up Some Early Morning Sunshine

Read the paper or a book outside or take an early morning walk or jog! Morning sunshine will relax you and  help your body recognize a more stable waking and sleeping pattern after a weekend of staying up late and sleeping in.

Hydrate for good health!Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

If you indulged in alcoholic drinks or salty foods and lots of sunshine  make sure and carry around a bottle of water!  (1/2 your body weight in ounces is a goal to aim for).

Hi! This is Donna. I am a grandmother, mom, wife, and a teacher. I also love cookbooks, love to bake and really enjoy food! At age 56 I have developed a love of fitness after losing 46 pounds on the 21 Day Fix! I have always struggled with my weight! When menopause struck and things got totally out of control... My weight only went up not down. My muffin top turned into a bakery shelf. I desperately wanted to lose weight and improve my health. I wanted to be able to play and keep up with my beautiful grandchildren. Nothing I tried worked until I found the 21 Day Fix. Now instead of a tight size 16 I wear a comfortable 8 and even some 6's!
