This is sure to satisfy the steak and potato lovers in your home. It is easy to prepare and clean up. And it is healthy!Roasting meat and vegetables together in one pan is an easy way to make a truly delicious meal out of almost anything. Just switch up ingredients and seasonings for an unlimited variety of combinations.

It is a super quick and easy way to have a healthy, delicious dinner on the table during those busy week nights. Simply assemble ingredients on a single sheet pan and pop them into the oven for a fantastic meal.  This Steak and Vegetable recipe is sure to delight those steak and potato fans in your home!

I used grass fed New York strip steaks (I splurged since we do not eat steak often) and organic vegetables. However, you can use whatever is in your budget or available in your grocery store.  

Pre-boiling the potatoes ensures that they will be tender and ready to eat when the rest of the meal is done. I used garlic, oil and Italian seasonings on the vegetables. The steaks received a generous amount of Montreal Steak seasoning. Simple and easy but incredibly delicious!

Ingredients
  1. 2 pounds baby red potatoes sliced in half
  2. 12 ounces broccoli florets
  3. 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  4. 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  5. 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  6. Montreal steak seasoning
  7. sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  8. 2 pounds, 1 inch thick New York strip or top sirloin steaks
  9. non-stick foil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to broil.
  2. Line a baking sheet or jelly roll pan with non-stick foil.
  3. In a large pot of water boil potatoes until just tender, about 12-15 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes and return to pot.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning to potatoes and toss to coat potatoes evenly.
  6. Transfer potatoes to one side of baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Put broccoli in the pot the potatoes were in.
  8. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
  9. Toss to evenly coat.
  10. Place on opposite side of sheet pan in a single layer.
  11. Pat steaks dry and season both sides generously with Montreal steak seasoning.
  12. Place steaks on sheet pan, in between potatoes and broccoli.
  13. Place in oven and broil until the steaks are charred at the edges, about 5 - 6 minutes per side for medium rare, or until desired doness.
