Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork Roast: Easy and delicious!We woke up at 3:00 this morning, yes 3 a.m…. To travel back to North Carolina from Pennsylvania. The idea was to avoid traffic through Washington DC and northern Virginia. It worked and we got home around 9:00 AM. Bleary eyed and tired but not able to sleep due to drinking coffee to stay awake during our drive home.

Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork Roast: Easy and delicious!I know we will crash later so a slow-cooker meal for dinner is definitely in order. But what to cook? I had a pork tender loin in the freezer and did a quick thaw and scoured the pantry to figure out what to add… I decided on a balsamic vinegar and honey sauce. If I don’t count the salt and pepper I used just 7 ingredients – pork tender loin roast, balsamic vinegar, Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork Roast: Easy and delicious!vegetable broth, Worcestershire sauce, crushed red pepper, garlic powder and honey! I love recipes with just a few ingredients! I roasted some fresh vegetables and dinner was done!

It was delicious and there were plenty of leftovers for later in the week, prepped and ready to go! Shredded pork tacos are definitely on the list. If I add a healthy barbecue sauce, barbecue pork sliders will be oh so good! Give this a try and let us know what you think! Slow-Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork Roast
This is a delicious slow cooker pork roast. Flavorful and requiring only 6 ingredients, most of which are probably in your pantry.

  1. 2 pound boneless pork tenderloin roast
  2. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  4. 1/3 cup organic vegetable broth
  5. 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  6. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  7. 1 tablespoon organic honey
  8. salt and pepper to taste
  1. Season the pork by rubbing it with salt, garlic powder and red pepper flakes
  2. Place it into the slow cooker.
  3. In a small bowl combine the broth, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well.
  4. Pour the sauce over the pork.
  5. Pour the honey over the roast
  6. Set the timer for 4 hours on High or 6-8 hours on Low.
  7. When finished cooking the roast should easily shred with a fork.
  8. Remove the roast from slow cooker with tongs into a serving dish.
  9. Break apart lightly with two forks and put back into the slow cooker.
  10. Spoon 1/2 cup sauce over the pork and keep warm until ready to eat.
  1. This is a great meal prep recipe! Serve it as a roast then use the leftovers for later in the week! It makes delicious shredded pork tacos and barbecue pork sliders!
