Slow-Cooker Cinnamon Maple Glazed Pecans

By on October 19, 2016

Fall marks the start of holiday celebrations! These Cinnamon Maple Glazed Pecans are perfect for serving for folks to nibble on or to give as a hostess gift. I have tried to cook glazed pecans before and always seem to over cook them.  My kind husband says they are a “little brown” but lets be real, they were burnt!

So when I saw this recipe for pecans cooked in the slow cooker I had to try them.  The result was success! They were easy and delicious.  Not too sweet and just a little taste of salt, a perfect mix! And I did not burn them! I think cashews or almonds would be really good cooked this way. And there is no refined sugar in this recipe, pure maple syrup replaces the white stuff! That makes this recipe a definite winner.

Search your local craft or Dollar store for some pretty bags and ribbon and you have a delightful, delicious homemade gift that will be appreciated!
