Sweet Treat Menu Plan

A clean eating, portion controlled menu plan CAN include sweet treats.    You do have to do a little work but you don’t have to say goodbye to desserts and other treats forever!  On the 21 Day Fix and Country Heat Programs you can actually have up to 3 yellow treats a week.  And do not forget treats that are not yellow that Mother Nature provides such as fruity popsicles or frozen grapes.  

There is an extra yellow treat in this plan to demonstrate how to include treats without totally falling of your healthy eating plan when company comes or there is a special occasion.  Rather than  using theses occasions to completely jump off track, an extra yellow treat once in a while will not ruin your week or day, especially if you account for it. What is important is to plan and follow basic clean eating principles and be aware of your portions.  The 21 Day Fix and Country Heat programs do just that! NOTE: This menu is for the lower calorie bracket 1200 – 1499 calories.  Adjust it as needed to meet your nutritional needs and preferences.

Hi! This is Donna. I am a grandmother, mom, wife, and a teacher. I also love cookbooks, love to bake and really enjoy food! At age 56 I have developed a love of fitness after losing 46 pounds on the 21 Day Fix! I have always struggled with my weight! When menopause struck and things got totally out of control...
