I love berries and blueberries are one of my favorites! Adding these gems to my morning Shakeology adds a little extra super food nutrition to an already nutrient dense smoothie!
Blueberries have the highest concentration of antioxidants of all their berry counterparts. They are just bursting with antioxidants that are helpful in protecting us from the physical and mental effects of aging as well as long-term health problems such as some cancers and heart disease. They may even slow the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. They also provide fiber to support a healthy digestive system. So add these gems to cereals, yogurt and shakes! Or eat them as snack by themselves. Try to eat a half cup several times a week!
