Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! This is not news, we have heard it many times before from our mothers, grandmothers, teachers, doctors….. So in a nutshell why is eating breakfast so important?
Breakfast provides you with the energy and nutrients that lead to increased concentration at work.
Studies show that breakfast can be important in maintaining a healthy body weight.
Many people who have not eaten breakfast, snack on foods that are high in fat and sugar before lunch time.
A simple healthy breakfast fuels us with vitamins and minerals. When you miss breakfast it is hard to make up the nutrients missed that a simple healthy meal would have provided.
Breakfast improves our energy levels the morning and helps to prevent that mid-morning slump.
Below are some quick, simple, healthy breakfast ideas. I usually drink Shakeology for breakfast as I am hurrying out the door but once in awhile and on weekends I want something different. We hope you find ideas here you can use. Leave us a comment and share with us your favorite breakfast ideas.
