Caprese Beef Burgers

These burgers were delicious!
Basil from our garden inspired this version of our good old burger.
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- pinch of Pink Himalayan sea salt
- pinch of Fresh cracked pepper
- 3 slices fresh mozzarella
- 1 tomato sliced
- 1.5 pieces of Josheph’s multi-grain flat bread
- Fresh basil for topping
Containers per burger: 1 red, 1 blue, 1/2 yellow
Make your beef patties; each patty will be 1 red container. (Should make about 3 patties.) Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Place on the grill for about 5 mins each side or until desired doneness. Add mozzarella until it begins to melt; about 1 minute. Take burgers off grill. Cut flat bread in half long ways. Place burger on the bread, top with tomato. Sprinkle on basil.
Take a bite and enjoy!
We had roasted carrots as a side but any veggie will do!
