Do you need a fun after school or really anytime snack for you or your children? These yummy morsels are not just for kids! They are quick, fun and healthy. No cooking required! It is a snack kids can easily help make. I tried them out on my two year old grandson and they won his approval! If you are following the 21 Day Fix meal plan 1 serving is equal to 1 purple container, 1/4 yellow container, and 1/2 -1 tsp oil.
1 serving
1/2 banana sliced into 4 pieces.
1/8 cup crushed granola or whole grain cereal.
1/2 – 1 tsp. organic natural peanutbutter (I used 1/2 tsp).
toothpicks (food alwyas tastes better eaten with a toothpick and is less messy).
Lightly spread peanutbutter around the outside of each banana piece.
Place the crushed cereal on a small plate.
Roll each peanut butter covered banana piece in cereal.
Place a toothpick in each and watch them disapear!
Variations: Experiment with other ingredients to roll them in such as ground nuts, dried fruit, or mix a few mini chocolate chips in with other ingredients. (Account for any ingredient changes in your containers.)
